Engineering Orientation

Shortly before the beginning of each academic year, the EUS proudly hosts Engineering Orientation to welcome the first year Engineering students to the faculty. Engineering Orientation is an opportunity for first year students to learn how to get involved and to succeed during their university career through real deal talks from upper year students and to bond with their future class mates through group building activities. The activities of Engineering Orientation include barbecues, talks from upper year students, the Dean of Engineering, and professional Engineers, a scavenger hunt, duct tape games, and a pancake breakfast served by the professors. The first years are also brought to Killarney Lake for a boat building competition, and activities with the sub-societies.
